 Decolonizing Somatics: Rooted in Black erotic healing, this is a sexuality and gender affirming learning and healing space dedicated to reclaiming sexuality, somatics, and spirituality through erotic intelligence, integrative somatic healing, decolonial spirituality with trauma-informed healing practices rooted in the ancestral wisdom of the Global Majority of Black, Caribbean, African, Indigenous Turtle Islanders, Latine, East Asian, South Asian, and Pacific cultures.

And Within My Authentic Purpose Is the Desire to Support Your Erotic Liberation & Embodied Healing Journey

For me, this collective liberation work began in 2017 as a desire to create a sacred space for sexual healing for queer and non-queer Black women and Black non-binary folks —Womynism Sacred Circle, a one-day healing retreat rooted in queer Womanism, which later expanded to welcome others from the Global Majority who are also erotically marginalized.  This liberation work centers on the importance of our sexual, spiritual, and somatic well-being —a wholeness and WHOLE-Self approach to liberation.

Whether you are a survivor, a professional who is also a survivor, or someone desiring to (re-) connect to their peace, their pleasure, and their power, Erospirituality Centre has been created for us.

My relationship to healing has always been BOTH/AND

I mean-

My personal self AND my professional self,

My spiritual self and my sexual self,

My wounded and my empowered self,

My colonized self and my decolonizing self,

My vanilla self and my kinky self,

Can you tell I might be a switch? 

A joke aside, in our current societal and global state of chaos, we need deliberate ways of healing and being that honor our stages of being and healing-crisis, surviving, and thriving. Rooted in the safety of Black queer erotic healing, Erospirituality Centre reclaims erotic wholeness as the embodied capacity for pleasure, a birthright by creating space for an intuitive relationship with our mind, body, energy, and spirit. This is how the erotic helps us reclaim our desires, our joy, our intimacy, and our radical self-acceptance.

This is the pathway to erotic liberation.

 Erotic Liberation is a radical, embodied state of being where one’s erotic energy—sexual, spiritual, somatic, and intuitive—is reclaimed as a sacred source of truth, being, power, and care. It is the life force of our discerning desires, the pulse of our joy, the root of our creativity, and the mirror of our inherent worth. For those healing from trauma, marginalization, and erotic disconnection from body, culture, and spirit, Erotic Liberation is not indulgence—it is essential. It is a return to WHOLENESS.

Erotic intelligence is the intuitive and discerning ability to navigate love, desire, intimacy, and erotic power with authenticity and erotic curiosity in your everyday life. This erotic space provides healing opportunities for both personal healing and professional growth.  From Ontopoetics to Erotic Living: 

Erospirituality as Decolonial Healing Praxis

In 1996, Randolph J. Bowers introduced the concept of Erospirituality: Sex, Ecology, Evolution – The Ontopoetics of Soul. His work framed eros as an ecological and evolutionary force—an ontopoetic current through which the soul expresses its unfolding. In this view, eros is not merely sexual energy, but the poetic life force that connects sexuality, ecology, and spirit in the emergence of being.

Nearly three decades later, as someone who expands this healing work and extend it into the practice of Erotic Living—an integrative, ritual, and decolonial expression of Erospirituality. Where Bowers located eros in ontopoetic theory, my work roots it in daily praxis: embodied rituals, healing justice, and collective liberation- for personal healing and professional development.

At its heart, Erospirituality is the practice of using Eros as our Divine GPS—a compass for our relationship to Spirit/spirit and our life force energy. This work invites us to challenge and dismantle colonially-informed assumptions about sexuality and spirituality. By intentionally decentering, disrupting, deconstructing, and unlearning these limiting frameworks, we open space for decolonization, authentic consent, and embodied liberation.
