Healing is continuous and layered. It's an ongoing process. It is not about a Euro-centric understanding of the body and medicalized symptoms.
Erospirituality Centre's Values
The values of a healing-centered practice
Healing here is not a destination or a diagnosis. It is a practice we return to — ancestral, embodied, and shared. These are the values that hold the work.
Healing requires unlearning self-limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors that are informed by "The Defaults".
It is embodied — the integration of your emotional, spiritual, sexual, mental, physical, and metaphysical/energetic selves.
Healing is both/and, not either/or.
Healing is self-determined and community supported. You will not do this work alone.
It's both your relationship with the Self and your relationship with others.
Healing does not look the same for melanated people as for non-melanated people (i.e. decolonization & intersectional).
Healing is complicated and compassionate.
Healing is not always about peace, it's the ability to return to peace (i.e. homeostasis).
Healing is work, rest, and play
Healing is the alchemy of your emotional labor.
Healing requires an understanding of your relationship between your identity and power.
Our movements themselves have to be healing, or there's no point to them.
