Cultivating Capacity

We need a wholeness point of view.

Burnout prevention cannot succeed in systems designed for perpetual exhaustion. Without restoring our capacity — for ourselves, each other, our relationships, communal care, desire, and pleasure — sustainability stays out of reach. This is the work of embodied intelligence.

In a world that prioritizes productivity over presence, I support therapists, educators, coaches, leaders, and organizations to build durable capacity by integrating somatic, emotional, and erotic intelligence into professional and personal life.

This work helps people & organizations

  • Develop somatically safer ways of examining and unlearning internalized sexuality, gender, and relational biases.
  • Address empathy fatigue and burnout by restoring emotional, mental, and nervous-system capacity.
  • Support post-burnout recovery through trauma-informed somatic and erosomatic care practices.
  • Cultivate embodied safety, self-trust, and intuitive relationship-building and repair.
  • Increase the capacity to love what we do — and love who we love — well.
“We are not on this earth just for the use of our labor.”
Erotic energy is life force — a divine GPS guiding us back to wholeness, purpose, and love.

About Mx. Queen

Mx. Lena Queen, LCSW, M.Ed. (Queen / they) is a clinical integrative somatic sexologist, trauma-informed integrative psychotherapist, TEDx speaker, and founder of the Erospirituality Centre, where they developed Erospirituality: the integrative approach of somatic sexology. As the creator of the Healing the Erotic Self™ framework and Erotic Intelligence Coaching™, Queen helps individuals and professionals transform shame into self-trust, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate embodied liberation through trauma-informed, decolonial, and healing-centered practices.

Their healing-justice approach, The Womanism Way , to decolonial comprehensive sexuality education weaves the uses of the erotic — as informed by Audre Lorde — together with integrative somatic psychology, neuroplasticity, energy medicine, and ancestral wisdom rooted in the healing arts of the Global Majority, bridging the gap between healing, pleasure, touch, connection, and WHOLENESS.

Featured by Them magazine as “the Sista Sexologist bringing Audre Lorde to your bedroom,” Queen has become a nationally recognized voice advancing conversations about erotic intelligence, healing justice, and LGBTQIA+ wellness. Through keynotes, professional trainings, and transformative learning experiences, they equip therapists, educators, somatic professionals, healthcare providers, organizations, and communities with practical frameworks for resilience, authentic connection, and whole-person well-being.

Why work with me

Capacity building is an ethical imperative — not a luxury add-on.

Research in neuroscience, trauma recovery, and provider burnout is clear: sustainable, ethical care takes more than cognitive or behavioral strategies alone. It takes the wisdom of the body. Embodied intelligence — the integration of three capacities — is essential to provider well-being, burnout prevention and recovery, and affirming, equitable care.

Emotional Erotic Somatic EMBODIED
