Embodied Liberation Newsletter: Erotic Alchemy
Since 2021, I have deepened my relationship to this work because I got to the point that I had to consider how to be happy in the time of chaos. I was moving through the mud of my self-limiting beliefs in ways that required me to stretch beyond what I saw and what I knew.
Moving into that unknown was HARD. Wanting to and sometimes reverting to old ways of being was just easy. Struggling with self-limiting beliefs about myself and my work now requires me to unpack my relationship with learned helplessness. With The Erotic, I moved through the 8 areas of The Erotic Self. I cried, raged, and sometimes avoided the discomfort of being responsible for my healing.
Being responsible meant I need to be both own my shit and be accountable to it. The Erotic reminded me that being responsible meant I do not have to be mean to myself. This part of my erotic healing journey was about presence and not performance. I had to be genuine, not just authentic.
Why do I say that? Because my wounded self was authentic, but that was not the authenticity I wanted to embody.
Alchemy is the process of transformation.
Erotic Alchemy is the spiritual or sacred process of transforming emotional wounds, somatic imprints, and internalized shame into embodied safety, intuitive wisdom, sensual power, and erotic self-trust.

To move from performance to presence, I had to be intentional and desire the transformation of my pain into my power; to move from numbness and dissociation into sensation and from the fragmentation of erotic disconnection into feeling WHOLE erotically.
It was then that I realized my somatic healing practice, SHIFT, wasn't just a somatic practice; it is an embodied practice of the 3 keys to embodied intelligence: emotional, somatic, and erotic. SHIFT, A Self-Liberation Practice, did not have me practicing or healing in solitude. SHIFT gave me the erotic courage to transform my pain into erotic power and create the relationships I truly desire with myself and with others.
And it feels really good.
Does it always- no, it doesn't. But now I know and trust myself to manage the space between my ebbs and my flows.
If you are ready to trust yourself in similar ways, I invite you to start with SHIFT, A Self-Liberation Practice, the full book and its wellness plan and join my next masterclass, The Other EQ: Erotic Intelligence, which will be recorded.
