Embodied Liberation Newletter
The Erospirituality Centre was founded on a deep understanding of healing, born from my own personal journey. In August 2020, I experienced a severe mental health crisis marked by suicidal ideation. It was a period inflamed by professional and personal setbacks, and the profound feelings of shame and isolation that came with them.
For over 23 years, I have worked as a trauma therapist. For the past 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching embodied intelligence and wellness to both trauma survivors and therapy professionals. This work has been a reflection of my own healing process, and the Centre was developed to expand this reach.
My personal journey with embodied intelligence became intimately clear during a two-year healing trip to the Dominican Republic, which began in October 2022. What was meant to be a two-week stay turned into a 2-year immersive experience that gave me a firsthand understanding of this embodied wellness.
This trip was not my Eat, Pray, Love.
It was my Choose, Practice, and Surrender.
After surviving my mental health crisis in 2021, I intentionally focused on creating a sense of embodied safety. This consistent effort throughout 2022 helped me become more self-compassionate, self-aware, and emotionally regulated. In 2023, I moved on to building self-trust. I realized that self-awareness alone wasn't enough; I needed to become more discerning about my relationships with myself and others, my accountability, and my decision-making. I was overcoming self-sabotage- choosing self-preservation.
By 2024, I was committed to becoming intuitively and confidently embodied, transforming my journey from one of being wounded to one of being empowered. This led me to develop a presence practice that intentionally connects my mindset, moods, and movements, including my decision-making and efforts.
This entire process, from learning and teaching to living, informed my understanding of erotic intelligence. The erotic is the energy of our desires—both sexual and non-sexual—and it is informed by our understanding of our sexual and spiritual selves. Through my professional learning, healing research, and personal journey, I discovered that erotic intelligence can help us reclaim an ancestral understanding of our own wholeness—the mind, body, energy, and spirit.

We have value simply because we exist.
This inherent worth has been dehumanized by capitalism and colonialism, which have distorted our ability to give and receive love. But this doesn't have to be our permanent reality.
As my dad told me years ago, “Baby steps are still steps forward.” That simple phrase has been a tremendous source of encouragement for me. In 2025, I am celebrating my return to wholeness and all the "baby steps" I've taken to get here. Every single one was a step toward this future.
This year and on, I am committed to supporting both trauma survivors and healthcare & healing professionals in experiencing an orgasmic level of self-love, desirability, and wholeness.
