To heal and not just recover from exhaustion and burnout, there were 3  resources I needed to reclaim, not to labor, but to live pleasurably and in my fullness. Those resources were my time, my capacity, and my energy. 

Let's discuss these resources a little more. Time is not only seconds, minutes, hours, days, and months. Time is pacing, intention, and presence. Capacity is your mental and emotional space needed to connect to my (at the time) very neglected desires. Energy is the electrical impulses my nervous system generates and responds to in response to both internal and external pressures.

I call them embodied resources because they are informed by my relationship to mind, body, spirit, and energy. They are the resources that have been historically colonized, oppressed, and abused. They are the resources in which reparations, like permission, do not come from systems or individuals who think they have power over me. These resources are both personal and ancestral.  These resources inform my ability to hold myself both in love and accountability for not only knowing who I am but living from that center. These resources are MINE. This is how I am reclaiming and protecting my lovership.

With the erotic as the GPS to my embodied liberation, these resources move me into my WHOLENESS from a place of dissociation and disconnection to the erotically empowered connection to my Self, my desires, and my power. These resources reclaimed my center and my embodiment from knowing->believing->becoming. 

That pathway is now what I am calling the Womanism Way.

 The Womanism Way of becoming is informed by practices of radical self-compassion, radical self-permission, and radical responsibility to heal and center your perception of your Self. It's a pathway that requires courage and intention. 

It takes courage and intention because healing the erotic self requires both you and your relationship. Sib- we don't heal in isolation. We heal in community. WHOLENESS is both/and, not either/or. This is not simply an abundance mindset; it is how we develop a THRIVING mindset… in spite of the f*ckery of late-stage capitalism. There is MORE. So I am calling us into the Womanism Way.
